BUSTER, The Wonder Dog's Search of Black Dahlia Crime Scene First Video Footage

BUSTER AWAITING COMMAND TO “SEARCH” AT BLACK DAHLIA CRIME SCENE

Thumbnail image for Buster waiting command.JPGThanks to the Ghost Hunters Show some of the November 9, 2012 footage of  Buster’s search of the basement at the Sowden/Hodel Hollywood residence has now been released.

Here is a link to their website to view Buster in action.  Click Here.

Sgt. Paul Dostie, Buster’s handler, and I made a recovery of four separate soil samples from where Buster “alerted” in the basement.  The soil in that area remains undisturbed from its original 1940s condition.

Note that Buster is searching on four legs, with one bandaged.  The following week Paul was informed by his vet that the results of tests showed the leg to be cancerous, “and it has to be removed.” Surgery was performed two weeks after made his Black Dahlia search.

Buster is now up and running on three and the amputation has not slowed him physically and he is “good to go” on his next case.  No police pension and retirement for Buster. What a dog!

It’s so sad that Buster had to lose a leg. So glad that he healed up quickly and is back on the job. What a dog! “Buster find some more!”
    Best wishes!
