Today I joined retired NYPD Sergeant Joe Giacalone on his program, True Crime with the Sarge, for a detective-to-detective conversation about my investigation into the 1947 murder of Elizabeth “Black Dahlia” Short.
For approximately 45 minutes, we discussed how I came to investigate my father, Dr. George Hill Hodel, and the evidence that led me to conclude he was her killer.
My apologies for the sound recording. We had some microphone difficulties that required switching to my phone for audio, but I appreciated the opportunity to share the story and Joe’s thoughtful interest in the investigation.
Thank you, Joe, for having me on.
