Yours in truth,
Raul
Hi Raul:
Thanks buddy. Good to hear from you!
(For those of you don’t know Raul, he is THE EXPERT on all things that go boom da boom -boom da boom da boom! Raul, a child actor in many of the early DRAGNET series was a close personal friend of the actor Jack Webb and his family. Raul, in 2003 was a production supervisor at KNX Radio in L.A. and contacted me with important info that was included in my updated AFTERMATH chapter of BDA. (pages 509-510)Check out his very cool pics at below link.)

I knew Rod Alcala in 1966 and hung out quite a bit in Hollywood. He seemed charming and handsome. The odd part was that we were 15 and he was 21 or maybe older. I see the pictures of his victims and think… coulda been me.
Laura:
Yes, easily “could have been.” Thank goodness it wasn’t.
Knowing what we know now, I fear that there may well be many other victims that preceded my 1968 investigation of 8-year-old, Tali Shapiro.
Steve
Steve:
I know the tug of ‘doing your job’ which was all and everything you could do and still some ‘hook’ slides out the system’s backside only to do more of that which you put him away for doing the first time… or worse. The positive impact you had on your community as law enforcement officer for 23 years is incalculable. There is no way to determine how many lives you saved or helped save by your investigations, not to mention the relief given to families of those approximate 300 murders you investigated. But I know, everyday, in LA and surrounds, someone there is or has been enjoying a better life because of your efforts.
All the best to you, keep up the good work!
Robert
Robert:
Thank you Robert. Those heart-felt words mean a lot coming from someone like YOU who has “been there and done that.” For my readers, you should know that Texan, Robert Sadler is, ” a private investigator and security consultant, Vietnam veteran and former Dallas cop, is a novelist-essayist-poet-artist and photographer.”
I highly recommend his novels. See his website at: http://robertjsadler.com
