At that time we were attempting to obtain a meeting with LAPD Command Officers and Robbery Homicide Detectives to present overall intelligence briefing on BDA investigation prior to publication of the book in April 2003. (LAPD canceled the scheduled meeting on three occasions, and eventually met and were briefed by Kay/Hodel in 2003 several months after the book was published and aired on Dateline and 48 Hours.
