Black Dahlia Avenger III Print Edition Now Available Online at Amazon

After nearly of month of SNAFU’s the November 1st publication of BDA III is now available in the print edition on at Amazon.
My publisher Rare Bird Books had copies available to the public on the launch date of November 1st and made them available at my South Pasadena Library Talk on that date. Hopefully, the Ebook edition will quickly follow for online purchase in the next few days.

I just ordered “BDA II” & “BDA III” on Amazon and I just can’t wait to receive them. I have to say that BDA is one of the best book I ever read. Your research work is so astonishing I have no words to describe it to my friends.
Just one thing. I live in France and there is no french translation of your books (except BDA I). Your work deserves a translation. And not much french people can read in english.

Hi Farid: MERCI. Thanks for the kind words. Much appreciated. I would love to see BDA II and III translated into French. As you say, BDA I was a national bestseller in France way back when. (2004). (Will have to think about trying to market a French translation this year? “Marketing” is not my strongest suit.) After BDA II and III, you may want to check out MOST EVIL I and II. As you may know, a fellow Frenchman of yours, Mssr. Yves Person, a high school teacher in Paris, “cracked the Zodiac cipher” and collaborated with me in presenting the solution it to the public in Most Evil II. Happy New Year to you and yours, Steve.
Hi Steve, thank you for your answer ! I already read “MOST EVIL I” and I want to read BDAII and BDAIII before to read “MOST EVIL II”. Like many others i’m addicted to your work.
I know for Yves Person crack work. It’s unbelievable because it shows GHH was so smart that best specialists in each domain (medecine, art, language, etc) are needed to decrypt his “work”.
Definitively, BDAII and BDAIII could also become best sellers in France with a proper translation.

Trey T: Hi Trey. Thanks. Re. I Am The Night production, by TNT, just keep in mind that it is 90% Fiction. I had nothing to do with the making of that show. So, very little is fact. Fauna Hodel never met my father in life and was never at the Sowden House until recent years after my father’s death. That said, Credence 13 in conjunction with TNT will be coming out on Feb 13th with “Root of Evil: The True Story of the Hodel Family and The Black Dahlia.” An eight-hour podcast that I did involve myself in and is a totally accurate true story. involving Hodel family interviews and my investigation. I just got your new book and finished Chapter 2. The new information just in those 2 chapters is stunning. You were talking about your father copying JtR. I noticed in the JtR “bloody knife” letter, that the skull is on top of a 12 sectioned circle, very much like a zodiac is drawn. Could this have influenced your father’s use of Zodiac as his “nom de prune”? Please excuse the pun.
I remember that on 28 Sep 2009, I sent you the following email, which you mentioned in your blog entitled “A New Letter from Dada & Moma”, and you used our observation in Black Dahlia Avenger II, edition 2012 – pgs 420 and 421, and the revised edition 2014 – pgs 328-29:
“When I first looked at the picture on page 145 of ‘Exquisite Corpse’ named ‘It is Midnight Dr._____’ by William Copley, my first thought was that the implements on the top right of the picture spelled out the name “Hodel”. My brother told me that this was his very first impression as well.”
I was stunned by the revelation of your father’s name spelled out in the hat brim of the man in the painting. How much more information is hidden in these surrealistic paintings, which by the way, have always creeped me out?
It seems unbelievable, but I think you have just scratched the surface of your father’s deep dark secrets. Your books are totally fascinating! Deborah M.
