Both My Teams Win — Dodgers #1, Mariners #2
I don’t usually step away from homicide files and case notes to write about baseball — but last night deserves a mention.
Both of my teams won — the Los Angeles Dodgers (my #1) and the Seattle Mariners (my #2) — and what a pair of games they were. The Dodgers handled business in classic Dodger Blue style: precise, poised, and powerful.
And then the Mariners — fifteen innings of pure grit. A throwback to the kind of game that tests every nerve and keeps you awake long after midnight.
For me, it’s a double win — Los Angeles roots meeting my Pacific Northwest home base. Two hometowns, two victories, and one perfect October night.
GO DODGERS! GO MARINERS!

You could buy two hats for your teams and split them down the middle and sew the halves together so that you can show support for both.
