A Thank You to Attendees at my Lynden Village Books Presentation -Second Presentation at Fairhaven Village Books To Be Announced

July 30, 2024
Birch Bay, Washington
A big THANK YOU to the seventy-plus attendees at my presentation at Village Books in Lynden, Washington, on Saturday, July 13, 2024.
There was a great turnout, and I especially enjoyed the Q&A afterward. (It was my favorite part of the talk.) Due to the demand, the Village Books Store in Bellingham (Fairhaven) has asked me to do a second presentation. So, I will be giving a talk at that bookstore in late October, the date to be announced.

Steve, so happy for you. Wish I could be at one of your talks, again. We met at Philly Noir Com a few years back.
You might remember me. I gave you a book โ€œThe Franklin Scandalโ€, by Nick Bryant. And you generously gave me
one of your books and you signed it. Itโ€™s a permanent part of my collection.
At noir com, I think it was the last day and you gave a talk at the Society Hill Playhouse on a Sunday morning. Lots
attended. I enjoyed it very much! I think I was the only female in attendance. No complaints there!
I hope someday youโ€™ll be in my neck of the woods and I can again join the discussion.
    Thanks,
    Marie Flick

      Hi Marie:
Yes, thanks for the kind words. Loved my visit and the presentation back then.
Well, conditions reversed here at my Lynden talk. I think it was about 80% women/20% men.
Will let you know if I get back to your neck of the woods. All my best.

    Hi Steve,
I have been re-listening to โ€œRoot of Evilโ€ podcast again and I have some more questions for you if you donโ€™t mind answering .
    1) Did you ever reach out and find your Dadโ€™s first child (the one he had with his college professorโ€™s wife), I think named was Folley?
    2) Why do you think your Dad chose Elizabeth Short as a victim?
    3) When your Dad went to live in Japan and the Philippines, do you think he killed anyone over there?
    4) If you could talk/say anything to your Dad now about everything you know, what would you say to him?

    Thank you for your time!
