Once again, the narrator, Malcolm Hillgartner has executed a masterful reading of the text as a follow-up to his narration of Part I (The 1920s).
This is the fourth audiobook that Malcolm has narrated for me.

    Steve, Hillgartner’s voice definitely compelling👍! Have recommended these audiobooks to both my ophthalmologists (one being daughter Grace) since they both have drives during their work weeks in AZ & TX. Relating funny comments from Grace as I spoke about this yesterday w/her. Keep in mind Grace just over a bout of Covid so a little testy: “Mother, I have enjoyed your recommendation & listening to ‘Concert for George’ as I drive & as I rested here at home, beautiful! But I see you are still in the ‘murder & mayhem’ mode!! Have you recommended George’s music to your friend Hodel? Be happy Mom!! Will see my local Opthalm. in couple of months & get her opinions! But did get some good news from Grace’s son Cole as he recoups from a foot injury keeping him out of track racing this season☹️. He has found studying for his LSAT which he will take this summer
    very gratifying & interesting…… Jake Brigance lives!!😃

      She has it right. “Concert for Hodel” is most certainly an opera seria in eight acts.
      Yes, Malcolm was the perfect choice for a narrator. He really gets it and has also done a great job on Most Evil I and Most Evil II.
