I am looking forward to making a presentation at the NOIRCON 2022 Virtual Conference this coming weekend. The conference begins on Friday, Oct 21st, and runs through Sun, Oct 23rd.
NoirCon Virtual 2022 will consist of three days of panels, award presentations, conversations with authors, and more, all hosted on Accelevents! The proceedings will be a combination of pre-recorded and live events. The virtual platform also includes digital galleries for artists and exhibitors to share their work and hang-outs for social interactions.
And remember—don’t worry if you miss something because all of the virtual events will be available on the Accelevents platform for 30 days!

If noir is what we fear most—loneliness, isolation, darkness, violence—then NoirCon is a community bent on embracing our fears as seen through movies, books, music or art. Misery does love company, but when it is amongst friends, it makes life just a little sweeter. By contributing to NoirCon, you help our community grow by creating a unique camaraderie of respect and love of noir arts in all their forms.
My live presentation on IN THE MESQUITE: The Solving of the 1938 West Texas Kidnap Torture Murders of Hazel and Nancy Frome is scheduled for Sat Oct.22nd, 1:00-2:00 pm (Eastern) or for you West Coast viewers-10:00-11:00 am PST.
Had a great time at NOIRCON 2014 and was able to make the trip back to Philly for a live conference back in 2014. Below is a photo with Dr. Lou Boxer, past and current founder of NOIRCON, and my original blog from eight years ago.
