    Hi Steve,
When will we be able to view your interview with the filmmakers online? Thanks!

      Beverly H:
Wish I knew the answer. We have been off production for more than a year but expect to start filming again soon, so hopefully completed and will air in 2023?

Beverly H; Sorry, I thought you were referring to the “in production” documentary. The John Farrow film interview aired yesterday. Don’t know if its still available to view? Check Beverly Hills Film Festival schedule.

Like Beverly, I’m also very interested in your interview with Frans and Claude. Is this interview contained in the film “John Farrow: Hollywood’s Man In The Shadows”? I see there are still “screenings” available on the linked website, but wondering if this film is going to be released to the public in the near future? I’d like to be able to purchase a copy perhaps, as opposed to having to watch a “screening” where I only get one look, and won’t have the ability to pause, rewind, etc…

Don’t know if the film is going to DVD or public release here?
My interview with Frans is not in depth as in BDA II where the whole relationship of Lillian and Farrow is presented along with the drugging and staged “attempt suicide” by GHH at the Franklin House and the presentation of the Santa Barbara letter re. the incident in the Unkefer Letter. The interview shows a connection of Lillian to Farrow as a mistress and the father of his young child John Lenorak Farrow. Also, includes an interview with John’s wife after his untimely death near their home in Santa Barbara. Most of those events are included as blogs if you keyword Farrow etc.

I asked this question on the May 2009 blog about Kiyo, but figured I’d ask here, since this is where more of the current discussion will be:

This may have been mentioned by you somewhere, but can you explain how so many of the “insiders” knew about Elizabeth Short and that your father was the likely killer? Did they know this from the official investigation and him being a suspect, or was there other talk that led to this knowledge? Was Elizabeth Short at the house parties? I’m trying to wrap my mind around the possible knowledge of others that George knew Elizabeth, to them considering and suspecting him capable of a sadistic, despicable, psychopathic murder.

I don’t know a lot about how people of that time thought (their mindset and what have you), but it seems to me that there is a huge distance between perverse sex and sex parties, and psychopathic murdering. To consider that Kio suspected him as this evil murderer, and still had this infatuation with him when she deceived you just to be able to get a glimpse of him later… well I know that some girls have a weird infatuation of serial killers but that seems more like just the thrill of writing someone crazy in jail. That seems different than an actual real-life infatuation with someone whom you suspect is capable of such horror.

    Is it just me?

I also have been wondering about the timeline of the Elizabeth Short killing. If time of death indeed was around 4am (due to rigor mortis not setting in yet), how did the killing occur, and all of the surgical horror afterwards, and then time to wrap-up and dump her body? This may have been mentioned by you elsewhere, so forgive me if it has, but as I’ve recently begun focusing more on this, that is one of the questions that seems difficult. I believe I read somewhere that what was done with her body would have taken an estimated 4 hours, tho maybe with a partner or multiple evil cohorts, that timeframe could be lessened, but it seems to be cutting things awfully close.

EDIT – I just read that her body wasn’t discovered until 10am, which seems late in the morning. I was assuming the body was dumped very early; otherwise it seems pretty risky thing to do when some people may be awake. Huge diff between dumping a body at 4am when almost everyone is asleep, and dumping a body at 8am when all kinds of people and children are potentially awake.

      Niteflyte:
Many of your questions can be answered either by reading the full series of books (suggested reading order below) or by keyword searches on my blogs which contain more than fifteen years of Q&A with readers. As to timeline see the below post:

Gotcha, as I just said in another post – this is what I just started doing today! Thanks so much, and I’ll do some more homework before spamming up the blog comments too much 😛

I’ll bet no one has ever complained that you were a boring dinner guest!!! 🙂

Hi Steve, are you aware that the Search function for the blogs is not working? I tried a couple different browsers to double-check, but it seems to be an issue with the site 🙁

          Niteflyte:
I checked with techs and it was a quick fix. Should be working now.

            It’s working – sweetness!!

I plan to read through all the blogs anyways, but this is def a nice feature. I sincerely think this is one of the all-time author compilations, and if it were up to me, you’d be in more of a national spotlight for reward and appreciation. You’ve put a lot of natural talent with a high work ethic to produce a diamond mountain (for lack of better words). Bravo and wishing you health and great blessings 🙂
