What get’s me is that the fact that your father being the murderer, in so many notorious cases, is strangely hopeful in that this means there were less diabolical serial killers.
It is amazing that all those Zodiac theories, all those books and movies, with all those theories, I saw and read before yours were so wrong.
It keeps nagging me that your father could have had ties with a sex cult, pedo ring of crazy rich celebrities, especially in Hollywood. I asked you about that possibility once before on you tube comments and you said you didn’t have any evidence of that.
The idea still does nag at me, since my sisters were molested by singing cowbiy Monte Hale, close friend of Gene Autry….and the strange lady the late, Janice Knowlton who wrote her book about HER Daddy was the Blavk Dahlia killer—insisted Gene Autry headed up a huge Pedo ring. I used to see all her comments on the Black Dahlia website…. There may be some odd connection.
David C: That is an interesting and often overlooked point you make that there is some reassurance that the serial killings being attributed to one or two individuals (GHH and Fred Sexton, as a team). Excellent observation and quite true. Just take the LA Lone Woman Murders as one example. “Theorists” would have you believe that in that decade a dozen separate killers were running around Hollywood and LA leaving dead bodies and tripping over the other suspect’s victims. Ridiculous and clearly LE already had tied many of the cases and or suspected one man did them. I’m sure in my father’s circle of friends there were a number of child molesters and pedophiles. “Kindred spirits” that thought nothing of having sex with underage boys and girls, but my point is I don’t believe it was any kind of “organized pedo ring” as Knowlton and others would have you believe. More likely rich and powerful men who individually believed they could have or take what they wanted and be “above the law”. Not so different from today really. Best, Steve
Some questions bother me, was about Dr. George Hodel, why George want to kill Black Dahlia? What cause is it? Furthermore, at 1950, some LAPD police clearly knew that the real murderer was George, but they didn’t arrest him, instead let George has a chance to leave the Unite States and fled to Philippines.
But, I really support some evidence that you showed it. What the most I impressed was the LAPD police installed a tapping device in George’s house. I remembered George said: “Supposin’ I did kill the Black Dahlia. They can’t prove it now. They can’t talk to my secretary anymore because she’s dead. They thought there was something fishy. Anyway, now they may have figured it out. Killed her. Maybe I did kill my secretary.” Although in the first few sentences he used the hypothetical tone, but in the last few sentences he admitted that he killed Black Dahlia.

The WHY is pretty well presented in BDA and later books. Elizabeth Short went back to Chicago and began investigating GHH suspecting he was the “Chicago Lipstick Killer” while he was away in China. He discovered she was looking into the connections, immediately quit his job with UNRRA/CHINA, came home and she fled in fear and was dead just three months later. Add to that the fact that the four top cops in LA, DA, LA Sheriff’s Office all independently confirm “The case was solved and it was George Hodel” along with his taped admissions and confessions to multiple murders and payoffs to police. Oh, I got it. In conclusion, this is the motivation of killing. Actually I also believe this case was solved, they just never have enough evidence to arrest your dad. Anyway, thank you so much, Mr Steve. I really support your inference👍🏻
Another question is, did your dad have a relationship with the police? Or is there a police who secretly protected your dad?
Simon S: Yes, he was an “Untouchable” and well protected and tipped off and fled the country prior to the DA’s investigator arrest of him in 1959. Best to read the book, BDA to see how it all comes together.
