Off to New York to make a brief appearance with Rasha and Yvette on NBC’s TODAY SHOW.
Short segment introducing Root of Evil podcast is scheduled for Wednesday, March 13, 2019, in the 9 AM hour.
And, unrelated, here’s a little levity from back in 2006 when my life was actually in Jeopardy.

The podcast is amazing. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any worse….well I’m glad many members of your family are speaking out along with you! You’re such a thorough investigator I truly admire your work especially with so many painful revelations. Question- have you done any promotions for BDA 3? I’m also in Los Angeles area I would love to attend one. It would be an honor to meet and shake your hand.
There is a new show coming soon to HLN channel called Very Bad People, it premieres this Sunday with an episode on Gacy. They have, according to the commercial advertisement, an upcoming episode on Zodiac. I sincerely hope you were either contacted to contribute or they showcase at least some of your work on GHH as possible suspect. I for one believe he was involved and had a partner like he did with Fred/BDA.

Will probably be doing a public talk on BDA III and other investigative connections in May at a public library, but will post announcement closer to talk date. No, have not heard about the HLN “Very Bad People” Show. Currently working on efforts to present my own project with some top people here in LA. Will see where that goes? Best, Steve

Correction-the HLN show is called Very Scary People. I don’t watch HLN but I’ll try to catch that Zodiac episode to see what they present. May be interesting.

I am a long-time admirer of your work and integrity. The unlocking of the investigative files to me was the final proof. How did George Hodel come to Jamison’s attention?
Bud W: Hi Bud. Well, there exist a number of “sources” but two that we know of are, 1) Lt. Jemison’s reference to “we have information that George Hodel exited a bar shortly after the murder drunk, and claimed, “They will never be able to prove I did that murder.” Then the most recent link to the Glenn Martin Letter in BDA III where the paid LAPD informant back pre Oct 25, 1949 disclosed to LAPD that he knew GHH and that he and GHH also knew victim Louise Springer prior to her death, that GHH killed both ES and Springer and “was grilled by LAPD back then and released “due to his connections with police.” This was all before Lt. Jemison set the stakeout in Feb 1950. Best, Steve
