I just wanted to say that I saw the Ghost Hunters episode and I am embarrased to admit that I had never heard of the Black Dahlia case before that episode. Since that episode I have been intrigued, I am an avid reader and my favorite books are suspense, etc. I was especially surprised at how well you have seemed to handle the whole thing. I have read up on the case and purchased your first book. Also, reading about Buster was amazing and I hope he is still doing great. We also have a lab and they are the best.

Well, the Black Dahlia case goes back sixty-six years so lot of people are unaware of it. Nothing to be embarrased about there. Yes, Buster truly is a Wonder Dog. Labs are terrific, but I have to say, paraphrasing Will Rogers, “I never met a dog I didn’t like.” Best, Steve
I have recently watched the Ghost Hunters episode for the Sowden house, season 9 episode 1 Hollywood Horror Stories on Youtube.com. It was quite something. I also watched the bonus with Buster the dog. It’s really too bad Buster didn’t make the cut. He is great! It seems that if there is no law compelling police to act if new evidence is found in murder sites there ought to be!
The Ghost Hunters interviewed Rita and Buck. Which owners of the Sowden house were they re: timeline? I also think it’s too bad that this wasn’t investigated by the Ghost Adventures Crew of the Travel Channel – sometimes available on Youtube as well. The Ghost Adventures Crew have better equipment with which to investigate and they often get even more compelling results. They are quick to debunk anything that turns out not to be paranormal as well. You mentioned in this Ghost Hunters episode that 9 people were killed in the Sowden Franklin House. I only heard or read of 3? Besides Elizabeth Short and Jeanne French who are the rest?
