I knew it was just a matter of time before Marketing stopped and took time to $mell the potential$.  And so it goes…….

I wonder what the Givenchy Marketing Gurus have in line for their next promotion? Perhaps some Sharon Tate Bath Oils, accompanied by a Jay Sebring Men’s Aftershave?

I say, Shame on them for using a murder victim in such FASHION.

What would the reaction be from Duchamp or Man Ray if they were alive to see this. The Givenchy ad reminds me of early Man Ray fashion/fetish photography, especially the undergarment choice: black, angular lines across/along the torso, etc.

    HI TAS:
Yes, quite so. They have even included (consciously or not?) a ripoff of the Man Ray designed William Seabrook collar that the algolagnian explorer had him make for his wife to wear.

    More “Zoolander” than “LA Confidential.”
