Rest In Peace Rosco 1998-2010
Rosco, the much loved boxer dog, (whom many of you know from his having posed in photographs while reading all of my separate book translations) has passed on. Rosco died yesterday in Orange County. He was 12 years old.
Rosco, was a warm and loving companion to my girlfriend, Roberta McCreary, who visited him frequently at her daughter’s family home in Orange County. Rosco and Roberta’s bond was very special. They were as sunshine to each other and he will be greatly missed. The family has asked in lieu of flowers that you hug your own pet and or give it an extra treat in special memory of Rosco.

Sorry to hear that Steve 🙁
Thanks Ed.
Hello Steve,
In my youth we had a boxer dog too. Her name was Anouk. That is many many years ago. I still miss her sometimes. I can understand you miss your dog very much.
Take care,
Arlen

Rest in peace good old patient Rosco, good dog! I’ve smiled at Rosco’s photos many a time; thank you for sharing him with us. My condolences to you both.
Phoebe
Thank you Arlen. Maybe Anouk and Rosco are sharing a bone in Boxer Heaven?
Thanks Phoebe.
Steve
I’ve been away from your site too long (Life!), and now have much catching up to do. Oh dear, to see that you have lost Rosco. Boxers are a fine dog and he appears to have been an exemplary member of the breed- not to mention very patient! So very, very sorry to you both.
KC: Thanks I’m sure Rosco is having a grand old time in dog heaven. Probably hooked up with “KoKo” who was a real “Valley Girl.” Just his type. steve
