One of my favorite radio people is Michael Shinabery, a very cool guy. Michael is an education specialist with the New Mexico Museum of Space History and host of his own AM radio show in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Michael initially interviewed me five-years ago shortly after Black Dahlia Avenger published. He then reinterviewed me in 2006 on the updated chapters included in the HarperCollins paperback, and yesterday, we did a third interview on MOST EVIL. (Click on below link to hear that interview. Michael Shinabery has been broadcasting in radio since the 1970s, more than 10 of those years doing news and entertainment in Alamogordo. Michael is a former award-winning staff writer with the Alamogordo Daily News. The Michael Shinabery Show airs Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 until 8AM. On Tuesday and Thursday’s he is joined by co-host Jean Vallance. Jean is a retired nurse who was active in local politics. Both conservatives, they combine humor, the unusual in music and news, and an array of local and nationally-known guests for early-morning listeners.
