Talk Radio Host Jack Riccardi 550 KTSA Interview on Black Dahlia Avenger II
Got a call from Radio Host Jack Riccardi from 550 KTSA who conducted a half-hour interview on my 2012 sequel, Black Dahlia Avenger II.
Jack’s a very bright journalist who always does his “homework” (translate- who read the book) and consequently knows how to probe and provide his listeners with intelligent insights on whatever material he is covering.
Enjoyed Jack’s June interview very much and wanted to offer my readers a chance to hear Jack do what he does best–Talk Radio. Click below to hear his podcast. (Runs 27 minutes)

Hi Steve,
I love the new book. Any idea of when the fourth and final will be released?
Also, sort of a speculative question, but if your father could see how you uncovered so many of his crimes, do you think he would relish the irony and infamy as the consummate stage of a master plan, or would he be angry/upset?
Best,
Ryan
Hi Ryan: Glad you enjoyed BDA II. The final book likely won’t be done for quite some time. Lots more investigation and I have it on a “backburner” for now due to some other demands das well as taking a break from the action. Hope to begin the book full time by years end. As to my father’s reaction, I suspect it would be a “mixed review.” The Dr. Jekyll would not be at all pleased that the world knows the truth, and Mr. Hyde would very likely love it and as you say, “relish the infamy and irony.”
This is a query as to whether George was @ Ft. Leavenworth the summer of 1962 ?
See: Victory Junction Ks murder, Mildred Marie (Head) Elliott
My Fathers’ elder sister, never solved. I was impressed & convinced by BDA II
Gary H: Not able to track GHH’s movements back then. The first crime I have identified as suspicious was the Riverside murder of Cheri Jo Bates in CA in 1966. My father did come to the U.S. regularly (two or three times per year for short stays) during the 60s, 70s, and 80s, until his permanent return in 1990. Regards, Steve
